With all of the publicity and news articles concerning Cryptosporidium (Crypto) in aquatic facilities, lakes, pools and waterparks in the DFW Metroplex, we want to take the time to assure you and your family that we, at the Wet Zone Waterpark, are taking every precautionary step to keep our pools clean and safe. The Wet Zone has hyper-chlorinated all pools in the park as a precautionary measure and will continue to do so weekly for the remainder of the season. Guest safety is our number one concern and we pride ourselves in our ability to keep our guests safe. The City of Rowlett's Health Department has been in constant contact with Wet Zone, tested our water, and ensured that the park has maintained the proper hyper-chlorination levels as well as safe daily operation chemical levels. Now we need YOUR assistance to help us maintain the cleanliness and safety of our pools by reading and following a few simple guidelines from our friends at the Center for Disease Control. Water aerobics transfers the basic principles of aerobics to the water and exercises every muscle and joint in the body at the same time. Water buoyancy helps reduce strain and stress on your joints and muscles. Almost anyone, no matter their age, can perform water aerobics. Resistance equipment is used in this class.

1. Do you have an ATM?

Yes. It is located outside between Haley’s Hunger Hut and Haley’s Shop. We accept Mastercard and Visa everywhere in the park as well. Ask about Wet Zone Splash Cash for all your park spending needs!

2. Can I bring my pet?

Sorry, Fido has to stay at home. The only animals allowed in the park are the ones used for medical purposes.

3. At what age can children be dropped off at the park without being accompanied by and adult?

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older.

4. Are lifejackets permitted?

Yes! In fact, we recommend you use one on any little ones who cannot swim. We are happy to provide you one for the day, free of charge. They are located at the entrance in the large green bin.

5. Does Wet Zone offer Season Passes?

We sure do! Season Passes are a great way to ensure hassle-free entrance into the park every day. Season passes are available to Rowlett Residents for $40 and $60 for Non-Residents. Don’t forget to add Splash Cash!!

6. What is Splash Cash?

Splash Cash is a convenient way to have spending money at the park without carrying around cash. With Splash Cash, no one else can use your card. Plus, if you lose your card, we can transfer the money to another card for a small fee. Load your Wet Zone Splash Cash in Haley’s Shoppe or in the ticket booth upon arrival!

7. Do you have Group Rates?

Of course! A group of 15 or more can come in for a mere $6 each.

8. Do you have a Birthday Package?

Celebrate your birthday at the Wet Zone, where the Birthday Child’s admission is free! Our party package is only $75 and includes 1 ½ hours under the birthday pavilion, one quarter sheet cake, a party host, a t-shirt for the birthday child, party favors for up to 30 kids, and a visit from Haley the Hippo. Children’s admission is $9 (includes hot dog, chips, and a drink), Adults can pay $6 for admission only or get a meal and admission for only $9. Reserve a pavilion for your birthday today.

9. Do you charge for parking?

No way! At Wet Zone, parking is always free.

10. Can I leave and re-enter the park without a charge?

We don’t mind if you need to leave the park, but make sure you get a hand stamp from one of our friendly greeters at the front gate.

11. Do you have first aid at the park?

Does a zebra have stripes? We sure do, located towards the front of the park right next to the women’s restroom…look for the first aid red cross symbol.

12. Are there height restrictions on any of the attractions?

We have several attractions suitable for all ages, including the fun-filled Water Playground, Swash, Turtle Cove and Water Wars. For the safety of your child, we require that riders be 48” or taller to ride Haley’s Rapid Ripple and Krrplunk.

13. Can I bring my own food/cooler into the park?

Feel free to bring in your own food and drinks from home. However, please leave any glass, alcohol, and kitchen cutlery at home. Food from outside restaurants and caterers etc. (e.g.: fast food, pizza, etc.) is prohibited. If you found you have forgotten something, there are plenty of yummy food options available at Haley’s Hunger Hut.

14. Can we bring our own floating devices?

You sure can! Just remember to keep you, your family and other people’s safety in mind and do not bring overly large floatation devices, inner tubes or arm floaties.

15. Do you have a spectator rate if I’m not going to swim?

Every guest who enters the park must pay for admission. Besides; basking in the sun, laughter, and the enjoyment of spending time with friends and family is priceless.

16. Do you allow smoking in the park?

Wet Zone is a smoke free zone, but please feel free to get a stamp from one of the friendly greeters at the front and step outside the gate to smoke. We have a bench and ashtray outside the gate for your convenience.

17. What type of swimwear is required at Wet Zone?

Swim trunks for men and swim suits for women. We ask that you do not wear cut offs since the fabric is not good for our filters nor our slides. As Wet Zone is a family friendly waterpark, please refrain from wearing thongs or other inappropriate swimwear. Haley’s Shop has a wide variety of swimwear available at reasonable prices.

18. Can my child wear water shoes on a slide?

We admit, water shoes are great to prevent cuts and scrapes while walking around the waterpark barefoot; however, please do not wear them on a water slide as they have a tendency to get stuck on the slide which could lead to an injury.

19. Do you offer rain checks in case of bad weather once we’ve arrived?

We gladly offer rain checks if the park is closed for a consecutive hour due to inclement weather.

20. Is food available for purchase at the park?

We have everything from cheeseburgers and hot dogs to smoothies and turkey sandwiches available for purchase at Haley’s Hunger Hut. Order up!!

21. If I forget my towel, do you sell them in the gift shop?

We have a selection of wonderful, fluffy Wet Zone towels available for purchase. In fact, Haley’s Shoppe offers a variety of swimsuits, sunscreens, goggles, toys and other necessities to purchase should you leave them at home as well!

22. Are alcoholic beverages sold or allowed in the park?

Sorry, no alcohol can be sold or consumed on the premises.

23. Where is the Wet Zone located, and what are your hours of operation?

We hope to see your smiling face on Monday-Thursday from 10:30 am- 6:30 pm, on Fridays 10:30 am- 8 pm, and Saturday-Sunday 11:00 am- 6:30 pm. We are located at 5304 Main St. in Rowlett, TX 75088, just behind Rowlett High School and the Rowlett Community Centre.

Listed below are levels taught at the Wet Zone. Participants must pass all listed objectives to receive a certification to advance to the next level. A level may be repeated if participant does not feel comfortable moving onto a higher level. In order to enroll in a level, prior level objectives must be met.

Regisration for a learn to swim class is $50. There will be a 20% administration fee ($10) if you withdraw your child from the class prior to the beginning of the class. No refunds will be given once the class begins. There is no make up for individual swim lessons.

Parent & Tot

This class is an introduction to the water for the toddler; parents enter water with the children. Water safety and rescuing is emphasized in this class. Proper ways of entering and exiting the water as well as proper methods of water exploration are demonstrated. Participants range in age from 6 months to 2 years.

The method of learning through games is applied at this level. Children learn safety around the pool as well as water exploration. Getting the face wet and feeling comfortable in the water is the main goal for this class.

This class is specially designated for children with physical and mental learning disabilities. While each class will be adapted to meet the needs and skills of the students, the basic goals will be for the children to become more comfortable and safe in the water. Introduction to elementary stroke skills may also be explored. The class will be offered each session, but the class size is limited to 5 children per session. Parents may observe from the pool deck or participate in the water with their child.

Home Pool Safety Course

Come get ready for summer fun at your own pool by taking the Wet Zone’s Home Pool Safety Course. Certified instructors will teach the entire family about home pool safety, accident prevention, rescues, and following up after an emergency. Cost is $25/family, up to four people, and $3 for each additional person, which includes a hot dog, chips, and drink for everyone in the class. Be sure to bring a swimsuit and towel, and remember, no member of the family is too young or too old to learn about safety in and around the pool!
